Feminist Storytime with Elizabeth Rhodes

It's International Women's Day and we are celebrating with a feminist storytime with local author Elizabeth Rhodes. Elizabeth will be reading some strong female books for us as well as sharing their own book, Feminism is for Boys.

About Feminims is for Boys:

The Feminism is for Boys book is an early introduction to feminism for boys. Feminism is not just about equal rights for all genders, but also about the pursuit to eradicate gendered stereotypes – allowing everyone to be their truly authentic selves. Boys are some of the most important allies in the movement for gender equality. Feminist boys should not be the exception, but rather the norm.  Feminism is for everyone, including boys!
