Books with Bailey the Bernese
We’re excited to welcome back Read With a Dog — this time with Therapy Dog Bailey the Bernese Mountain Dog and their handler Debbie!
Join us Tuesday March 10th from 3:30–5:00 p.m. for this special literacy experience.
Books with Bailey is a wonderful way for kids to practice reading aloud in a calm, encouraging, and completely judgment-free space. There’s no pressure, no corrections — just confidence-building and joy in reading.
Details:
• $5 Sign-up is required and will be refunded or put towards your in store purchase
• 15-minute reading sessions
• 1 child per time slot
• Ages 4+
• A parent or grown-up must remain at Maggie Mae’s during the session
• Kids are welcome to bring a book from home, or choose from a small selection provided by Maggie Mae’s
Please be aware that while Bailey is a well-trained, friendly, and gentle dog who loves children, she is not a certified therapy dog. By participating in this event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Allergies: You understand that a dog will be present in the shop and assume all responsibility for any allergic reactions.

Assumption of Risk: You assume all risks related to your child’s interaction with the dog.
