How the afternoon works:
3:00–3:30 p.m. – YA Book Club discussion (for older readers ages 13-16)
3:30–4:00 p.m. – Dragon Readers Middle Grade Book Club discussion
After discussions – General activity & social time for everyone
What we read each month:
Dragon Readers Middle Grade Book Club:
One chapter book and one graphic novel
YA Book Club (optional for older readers):
One additional, older-leaning book
Middle grade readers attend the Dragon Readers discussion only, while older readers (ages 12–16) may choose to participate in the YA discussion as well. Our readers help choose the books! If a meeting date or title is marked TBD, it will be selected by the group 2–3 months in advance. A grown-up must remain on-site during meetings or leave a phone number for emergencies. Nut-free snacks will be provided. We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and respectful space for all readers. All participants are expected to follow our Book Club Guidelines:

- Listen when others are talking
- Use quiet voices
- Respect different opinions
- Have fun!
