What Is Maggie Mae’s Monthly?
Maggie Mae’s Monthly is our new ulti-mutt book subscription. Each month we go fetch hand selected items and books to send (or you can pick up!)
We select books based on your expressed likes and dislikes, reading level etc.
How do I choose which subscription?
Each subscription is geared towards a specific age range or reading level. There’s a perfect op-paw-tunity to get books in your home every month for all ages.
When Can We Expect Our Ulti-mutt Books?
Books leave our store within the first week of the month and arrive at your recipient’s doorstep by the 15th of the month. For in store pick up you will receive an email that your order is ready.
I pay month-to-month. When will you charge my card?
If you choose to pay month to month your credit card will be billed within the first 7 days of the month. Senders will receive a receipt each month. To set up this option you will have to call us at 503-512-7493 or stop into our storefront.
Can I Choose Which Months My Pup-scription arrives?
Absolutely! If you need every other month, let us know on your questionnaire and we will work within your time frame.
I’d like to pick up my order monthly, do I get a discount?
If you’ve opted to pick up your order, we are so excited to see your face in store! We will be giving you an extra goodie (sticker, magnet, card, pin etc) to balance out the lack of shipping costs, so no discount will be applicable.
I don’t want to receive stickers or other gifts in my boxes, do I get a discount?
Sadly, we cannot give a discount if you opt out of the swag and gifts.
Can I use my educator discount?
Un-fur-tunately discounts cannot be applied.
Can I use a gift card, summer reading coupon, full punch card or store credit to pay for the subscription?
Gift Cards: Yes!
Summer Reading Coupon: Yes!
Full Punch Card: Ruh-Roh, no, but you earn punches for your subscription purchases to shop in store! We will keep your punch card in store on file for your convenience. When you have a full punch card, we’ll send it to you!
Store Credit: No, store credit is for in store shopping only.
If I order multiple subscriptions, can I get a discount?
We cannot offer discounts even if you purchase multiple subscriptions. The best way to save money is to pre-pay for 6 months (5% discount) or 12 months (10% discount) of your subscription.
I would like the box to arrive by a certain date. Can you do that?
We try to accommodate customers’ requests. Because we curate and hand-pick books each month, please allow 14 days from order date to arrival.
My child received a book/puzzle they already have, what do I do?
If you are close to our bookstore, you can bring it back for a comparable exchange. If you are not close by, you can mail it back to us and we will add another book into your next shipment. We do not cover shipping charges for returned items that you mail back to us.
How do I make suggestions or changes to my subscription?
The best way to provide feedback is to send us an email at email@example.com Be sure to include the recipient’s name. We welcome feedback because it helps us continue to send the best books for your kids!
Can I give a subscription as a gift?
Absolutely! Who doesn’t love treats? We’ll just need contact information for the recipient so we can cater to their requests.
For the holidays: What is the latest day I can order a subscription if I want the recipient to receive their books by Christmas?
Subscriptions must be purchased by 11:59p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2020 in order to arrive by Christmas.
